About
Behind the number: how the work is done, and where it stops
Locksmith Ibi is a mobile locksmith that works from Ibi, across the town, its partides and its estates, and over the Foia to Castalla, Onil and Tibi. There is no shop: the work happens at your door, your unit or your car.

The business
A van, a phone and a trade
22 years at the trade. The phone is answered at any hour, in English or in Spanish, and the van goes from Ibi to wherever the lock is. Lockouts, door openings and locked cars are dealt with day and night; new locks, upgrades and safes are booked for working hours.
Ibi is a working town, with more than 550 companies on its estates and people who come from elsewhere to work in them. That shapes the job: flats that change hands, units that change tenants, visitors renting for a few weeks. Where the van goes.
Every time
Six steps every job follows
- You say where you are and what the door, car or safe is doing. A photo helps.
- You hear an honest estimate of the drive at that hour, never a promised number of minutes.
- At the lock, the options and the price are agreed with you before any work starts.
- The gentlest method is tried first; drilling only with your agreement.
- Proof that you are entitled to open it is checked, before or straight after it opens.
- You pay by cash, card or Bizum, and get an invoice in English or Spanish.
If you need it now rather than later, the emergency page says what to do while you wait.
The limits
Work this business never takes on
Asked often enough to be worth saying plainly. None of the following is done:
- No key cutting, copying or duplication, for any lock
- No extra or replacement keys of any kind: house, gate, garage, unit, mailbox or padlock
- No car keys: not cut, not supplied, not replaced, not programmed
- No transponder chips and no vehicle remote controls
- No ignition barrels or ignition switches
- No keys for motorbikes, scooters or vans
- No welding or metalwork on gates, grilles, railings or shutters
With cars, the job is opening a locked door: car lockouts. For a new key, the maker’s dealer or a key-cutting shop is the right place.

The photographs and the reviews
The photographs on this site show the kind of work done and the van’s livery. They are illustrations, not portraits of staff, and the hill town behind them is not Ibi.
There are no customer reviews on this site, and no testimonials have been written for it. Where reviews will be published. Phone, WhatsApp and email are on the contact page.
