Emergency locksmith in Ibi, with the phone answered all night
The door clicked shut with the keys on the other side, the keys never came home with you, or the key snapped as you turned it. Ring at any hour: a person answers, asks where you are, and tells you straight how long the drive will be.

- A person answers, day and night
- No minutes promised, an honest estimate
- Price agreed before work starts
Locked out in Ibi right now? Ring +34 678 583 290. Say the street and number, or the partida and the name of the mas, and what the door is doing. If anybody is in danger, a child or someone unwell inside, ring 112 first.
On the phone
Three questions, then the van sets off
The call is short. Where you are; what kind of door it is (a flat door, the street door of the block, a gate, an armoured door); and whether it was only pulled shut or locked with the key. That last answer decides most of the job.
Then you hear an estimate for that drive at that hour, and you decide. In Ibi the difference between the centre and an address out in Biscoi or Foiaderes is real, and so is the road to Castalla, Onil or Tibi: the whole area and how to describe it.
Instruction sheet
From the call to the open door
-
You ring
Where you are, which door, and how it shut. A photo of the lock on WhatsApp helps.
-
The estimate
How long the drive is likely to be from where the van is. No promise you cannot hold us to.
-
At the door
The lock is looked at, the price is agreed with you, and only then does any work start.
-
Inside
Proof that the home is yours is checked. If the cylinder was damaged, you choose whether to change it now or later.
What it usually is
The calls that come in after dark
- The door pulled shut behind you with the keys on the table. Usually the quickest job of all, and opened through the latch.
- Lost keys, after an evening out or on the way back from work. The door is opened, and if the keys could be with someone else, the cylinder is worth changing: lock changes for homes.
- A key snapped in the cylinder, or bent so it will not turn. The piece is extracted and the lock checked.
- A lock that jams as you leave, so the door will neither open nor lock.
- A door somebody has tried to force. It is made to close and lock that night; what to fit afterwards is on the break-in page.
- The car, not the house. That has its own page.
Ibi after dark
Fiesta nights and winter nights
Some nights in Ibi bring more lost keys than others. The Moros y Cristianos fill the streets in September (11 to 14 September in 2026), and the Festes d’Hivern run from 13 December to 6 January, with the flour battle of Els Enfarinats on the 28th. Keys go missing in costumes, crowds and pockets full of flour.
Winter is the other thing. The town is around 800 metres up and the Foia de Castalla is known for frost well into spring, so a night outside a locked door is a cold one. Say on the phone if there are children or older people with you.
In town for work and shut out of a rented flat? There is a guide for exactly that: locked out on a work trip to Ibi. And if a small child is inside, read the first five minutes and ring.
While you wait
Things worth doing before the van arrives
- Check every other way in: a back door, a terrace, a neighbour or relative with a key.
- Have something with your name and the address ready, on your phone if the papers are inside.
- Do not force the latch with a card or a knife: a bent latch makes the opening harder.
- In a partida, switch on an outside light if you can and send a live location on WhatsApp.
Every channel and when to use it is on the contact page.
Questions
Asked from the doorstep
Will anybody really answer at three in the morning?
Yes. The phone is answered at any hour of any day, and lockouts, door openings and locked cars are attended at night. Planned work, such as fitting new locks, is booked for working hours.
From the centre, a partida or Tibi: how long is the drive?
No number of minutes is promised on this site. On the phone you get an honest estimate for your address at that hour: a flat in the centre, a mas in the partides and a house in Tibi are not the same drive.
Half the key is still in the cylinder. Should I try to pull it out?
Leave it. Pliers and tweezers usually push the broken piece deeper or score the cylinder. Keep the half you still have, because it shows which key it was, and ring.
I rent the flat. Do you need the landlord?
You need to show the home is yours to enter: the rental contract, a document with the address, or the landlord or the agency on the phone. If those papers are inside, they are checked once the door is open.
Is the door going to be damaged?
Most doors that have only been pulled shut open through the latch with no mark at all. A locked door is worked through the cylinder. Drilling is the last resort, and only once you have agreed to it and to the price.
